Basshunter is coming to South Africa

Renowned International Swedish based DJ and ultimate bass creator - Basshunter - will tour three South African cities launching his new album ‘Now you’re gone' - Johannesburg on 7 November, Durban on 8 November and Cape Town on 14 November 2008 with an extra show in Durban on 9 November for under 18’s. Basshunter is Europe’s most in-demand dance artist and will share the stage with other well known DJ’s namely Sweden’s Ali Payami supported by DJ’s Dizzy, Surge and Speedy for his Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town concerts. Here fans will get the chance to see this world-class Swedish DJ in action with his signature music.

Basshunter has established a loyal following in South Africa and with his album "LOL" reaching gold status here, he has proved his huge popularity amongst followers of dance, electro and club music. We are expecting 18,000 fans at the four concerts and tickets for the Cleo and VIP lounges are already selling out fast.

After signing a record deal in 2006 with Warner Music, Basshunter’s first single ‘Boten Anna’ was an instant hit, securing the No.1 slot in eight European countries and making him the fastest selling artist in Sweden since Abba.
